I love the innocence of little kids. They Believe in Magic. So when Magic Happens, they are understandably blown away. This little feller handled being a powerful magician rather well. What do you think?

The Best Party In The UK? Nice Feedback of Chris P Tee.
It is so wonderful when Parents, especially Mums, want to leave Feedback for their Child's Entertainer. It gives you the chance to read or watch and learn more about the person who will affect your child's life!
I know, that is a serious statement, but it's true.
One amazing Birthday party can be remembered for Life, 70, 80 years or more.
When you look at it that way, the cost of a professional performer for your child's special day, has got to be worth every penny. You'll get a memorable day that will last as long as you do.
Unique to Chris P Tee, my daughter Molly will Video your Child performing Magic with me and I'll send you the HD video to keep, share and cherish.
Magic!
Thanks to Silvia, Dom and Nico for a great party and for such a lovely review. (Don't ask me why I sound like that asking her the question, I sound like a simpleton. That's just me I suppose, a professional fool)

Magic Fletcher Grabs Money from the Air.
Magic Fletcher, using the power of self belief and a touch of magic to make money from thin air.
What I love about this clip is that Fletcher is so confident and trusting of Chris P Tee.
You have to be in this life.
Many adults would not go on stage and perform, but if you are confident and trust yourself, you can make miracles happen.
Yes, of course it's a trick. But the Trick to a Happy Life is Believing in Yourself. Trusting Your Own Abilities and Trusting Others who want to help you.
I am not asking your to be Naive. Quite the contrary.
You must read, learn, practice, experiment, perform, correct, improve then repeat.
Anything new is going to be tricky when you try it first, but the more you try, the more your brain learns. Keep going. Do what you love and do it lots and one day people will Pay you to do the thing you love because you do it so well.

Little Pirate Evie and Her Favourite Colour with Chris P Tee
Little Pirate Evie is a girl who knows what she want. She's outgoing, confident and runs rings around Chris P Tee, just the way he likes it.
Why would a Children's Entertainer want a kid to run rings around him?
Because sometimes, the results are amazing.
If everything happens the way you expect, every time, without fail.
It becomes boring.
When things are mixed up a bit, you are learning. You are improving.
In the video I make out that I am exasperated. I'm loving what she is coming up with. A simple trick is getting far more mileage and I am milking it.
The audience are laughing, I'm happy, it doesn't matter who is getting the most laughs (Evie, obviously) because everyone is having a great time.
It was Evie's big brothers birthday and he was a right card as well. I had a fantastic time with them and some of the kindest comments from parents, who were crying with laughter.
Thanks to the Cub Scouts, I learned a valuable lesson when I was a kid.
"Be Prepared"
Thanks to my Dad, I learned:
"Adapt or Die"
and don't worry if things are going wrong, sometimes, it's for the best.

The Last Party of the Year, What a Year it's Been. Goodbye 2013.
I can't wait for the Birthday party today.
It's the last remaining show in 2013.
It's been a very busy and exciting year that just flew by.
Thanks to everyone who helped me on my road to being Children's Entertainer of the Year 2013. I still don't know how I won as all I do is my own daft magic and silliness, the other guys were much better than me, certainly more experienced. I never thought it would happen, being a successful kids magician, and I am enjoying every second of it.
Bringing Magic to Children and seeing their faces light up (or scrunch up, depending on the trick) is very rewarding and along with the laughter, cannot be beat.
In this job, there are always surprises, I never know who's going to be waiting when I arrive at the party. Or even what kind of place I will be expected to entertain in.
This year I have performed at parties in Church Halls, Living rooms, Gardens, Parks, a Cruise ship, Stately Homes, Nurseries, Community Centres, Pubs, Rugby clubs, Football clubs, Scout Huts, Village Halls, Sports Centres, Leisure Centres, Hospitals, Conference Centres, Farm Houses and a Prison.
There have been different special events and themes, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Boys Birthday Parties, Girls Birthday Parties, 30th, 40th, 50th Birthday Parties, 21st Birthday Parties, Weddings, Christenings, Fancy Dress Parties, Communion Breakfasts, Pre School Anniversary, School Disco's and School Magic Shows.
There have been parties that were well organised and the parents listened to my requests for e successful party and have gone down a storm, being an absolute joy to be part of. And there has been parties, where the organisers have done everything that makes a Children's Entertainers job a living hell. (See my post "What Makes a Great Children's Party and What Should I Avoid?") I would rather not recall those for the sake of my own sanity.
There have been times when I have been very funny, magical and likeable and times when nothing has gone right and I've wondered what the heck I am doing there.
The Positives, Far outweigh the Negatives I can assure you. But it does seem that some people like to do things their own way, even when they have no idea what they are doing. The main reason they should hire a professional entertainer is to get it right, but some folk like to prove themselves wrong, again and again.
So what do you need for a successful Birthday Party that is Stress Free and Wonderful?
And what do you need to make the party a complete stinker?
You may be surprised, but Children's Entertainers the World over know these things and we share ideas and thoughts. Thanks to the internet, we are a very close community. Some of the stories would make your hair curl. But we usually keep those to our private chats!
I will share advice and help with you, so you can make the right choices for your child's party. Whoever you choose to entertain them. Hopefully me, but Children's Entertainers usually work local to home, so this blog is here to help you find the rights person for the job near to you.
Right, I have a party to get to. See you around and Happy New Year!
